U16 Blazers win the USA Hockey National Championship

Congratulations to the Boch Charles River U16 Blazers on winning the USA Hockey U16 Tier II National Championship. The team led by coaches Ben Dawson and Kelli Doolin turned in an amazing performance last weekend in Buffalo, NY. The team went 5-1 over five grueling days with wins over Carolina, Alaska and Connecticut. The girls won the championship with a tremendous team effort winning 2-1 versus a strong Marquette, Michigan team that had defeated the Blazers 1-5 in round robin play two days earlier. Coach Dawson noted that, "The girls all responded to that loss by going back to what we do best. Every player stuck to the game plan and gave us her personal best. I am so very proud of every player on this amazing team".  Follow this link for the full story on the USA Hockey website: http://nationals.usahockey.com/news_article/show/373692?referrer_id=718915

New Elite Division Competion

The BOCH BLAZERS HOCKEY CLUB announces that the boys will be playing the 2014-2015 season in the NEHL and newly formed BHL (Boston Hockey League).  We are looking forward to developing teams that will compete at the highest levels.  In September, we will enter a similar format Parity rounds in an effort to fill 3 spots in the Elite Division.

We at BOCH are so pleased, along with the league directors, in how much each of our teams have improved this year. We are the "most consistent program in the league" stated the league's director.

This accomplishment comes from the hard work and dedication of all our coaches and staff along with the top notch skills component added this year- the best in our young 3 year old organization.  I would like to thank Ian Moran, Jamie Rice, Mike Bavis, Sean McCann, Heath Gordon, Dan Gordan, David Hymovitz, Dan Donato, Brian McColgan along with their staff.  Also, JP Mckersie and all his Goaltending staff that have been working hard with our goaltenders all year.

We are looking forward to the playoffs coming up and to all our teams finishing strong in their respective divisions.  Let's bring home some championships for 2013-2014 season.  Good luck to all!
